Flash Player 9 for Intel Macs Beta Available Now!

I wrote yesterday that we were really close to having a Beta of Flash Player 9 for Intel Macs available, and the code Gods did not let me down! It's available right now, less than 24 hours after my original post. You can download it from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/public_beta/. Check it out!

Wow, it's much improved! Thank you!

If I could request one item, could you release a beta version of the standalone player as well?

I've noticed since the preview release came with my Macbook that if I run LuminicBox or any other swf which relies upon LocalConnection to communicate, it won't communicate unless both the browser and the standalone player are either both running Rosetta or not. I get around this by running Luminic in a separate browser window for now, but it's a bit cumbersome.

Kudos to the Player team!

I'll pass along the request.

Mark,

I'm a CF developer in Charlotte, NC. My company, American City Business Journals is seeking a temp/perm CF developer to start asap. If you know of anyone who is looking for a job in or around Charlotte, have them send me an email.

Thanks Mark,

-GR
