Using Flex and AJAX Together With FABridge
Ely Greenfield posted a great piece on how AJAX and Flex can easily be used together in a seamless manner. You can check out his article here. The secret is a new technology Ely developed called the Flex AJAX Bridge, which is a library that enables you to easily call into Flex from JavaScript in an HTML page, or to call into JavaScript code from ActionScript from the Flash Player. You can download FABridge from Adobe Labs. This is Ely's first blog post, and his site Quietly Scheming should be an interesting one to watch. Ely is one of the lead architects on Flex and has lots of in-depth knowledge of the framework, and often whips up cool stuff like FABridge. Enjoy!
